White Cliffs Symphonic Winds
The White Cliffs Symphonic Winds was formed in January 2004.  The band was originally set up asthe St. Edmund’s Community Symphonic Wind Band and over the years has raised more than £40,000 for local, national and international charities.  The band has a new venue for rehearsals The Whitfield Club, Napchester Road, Whitfield, Dover, Kent CT16 3JD (see the map on the right) and rehearses on Thursdays at 7:30pm during school term times.    The band comprises many former Royal Marines musicians as well as other professional musicians, teachers and competent amateurs and students and will continue to delight audiences with a mix of traditional and contemporary wind band music, whilst raising money for charities.

About Us

As the name implies, the band plays mainly modern compositions that are of an advanced level but for concerts more traditional items are included. Click here for details of our next concert including the proposed programme. (to be decided)
